MY PRIORITIES
Retaining Teachers
Researching factors that affect teacher retention is an important task. It is one of my top priorities to collaborate and support teachers through meaningful conversations, planning, and networking.
Funding CTE Courses
Adding additional programs broadens the horizon for students to spark their interest in various career fields. Early career exploration will provide various career options for students during their post-secondary experiences.
Implementing Safety Efforts
Developing proactive measures to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and staff will create a safe, learning environment.
Supporting Transportation Needs
Participating in extracurricular activities allows students to display their talents beyond the classroom. Transportation plans and procedures must be secured to support students.
Promoting Funding Accountability
Taking full advantage of matching funds and ensuring that Isle of Wight County Schools is not falling below the lines financially in comparison to other school districts, is critical to the overall operation and success of all schools.
